Standard Terms and Conditions of Services
Therapy Sessions
Talking therapies are helpful for anybody who wants to explore further into how they're feeling or thinking, as well as for anyone who has a problem they're wanting to address. During therapy, it is common to sometimes find the process uncomfortable or challenging when you are exploring emotional and psychological difficulties.

The number of sessions that will be offered to you will be discussed when you make an appointment. Both short- and long-term work will involve reviewing the process after a certain number of sessions which will be discussed with you. Sessions will last for 50 minutes, and regular appointments can be agreed with your therapist if they are convenient for the both of you.

Availability and Waiting Times
Clients are seen on a first come, first served basis and the aim will always be to keep any waiting lists at a minimum. Waiting times can be affected by availability and resources.

Availability is subject to change. While every effort will be made to be flexible to the needs of clients, no guarantee can be given to the possibility of being able to take on new clients.

Fees and Payments
Fees are outlined on the 'fees and appointments' page. Payments should be made in advance if this is by bank transfer. Cash may also be paid, which can be tendered if appointments are face-to-face. Payment details will be discussed and further information will be provided where appropriate.

Missed Appointments and Cancellations
Missed appointments with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full cost of the session. Any sessions that are cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will also be charged at full price. Sessions can be cancelled in the first instance by contacting adam.newman@qualithia.co.uk.

If the business owner needs to cancel an appointment, every endeavour will be to given to provide you with 24 hours' notice, and an alternative date and time will be offered.

Ending Therapy
Therapy sessions can be ended at any time. It is recommended that notice of you ending therapy should be given beforehand, and you allow at least one session in order to work through any feelings or issues. Depending on the duration of the work already undertaken, further sessions before ending may be beneficial. Having ending sessions is conducive, but not obligatory.

Contact
Ways to make contact will be made clear to you before commencing therapy. Contact outside of planned sessions between you and the business owner will be limited to the arranging or rearranging of appointments. Responses from the business owner will be provided during appropriate working hours.
